We work together as a team to bring the best possible festival experience to the 30,000 people who annually attend our event. Each member is given the freedom to be as creative as possible in their area, and that has contributed to the growth and vitality of the festival. Many thousands of unpaid volunteer hours are willingly given to the community by this dedicated group of individuals, many of whom take time from their jobs or businesses. We meet throughout the year to plan, fund, and execute Genesee County's best festival. Committee experience is not all hard work, we treat ourselves to a summer camping trip and the annual Michigan Association of Fairs and Exhibitions convention in Grand Rapids. However, our greatest reward is the joy, pleasure, and smiles of all who attend Hometown Days.
